Jakarta, 9 September 2025 – Bidang Dakwah MUI Provinsi DKI Jakarta menyelenggarakan kegiatan Dakwah Kota Global: Konsep, Strategi, dan Implementasi di Hotel The Acacia, Jakarta Pusat. Acara ini menghadirkan dua narasumber utama, yaitu Bapak Hasanudin Ali dan KH. Agus Setiawan, serta dihadiri para da’i, daiyah, dan perwakilan ormas Islam se-DKI Jakarta.
Dalam sambutannya, KH. Muhammad Faiz, Ketua Umum MUI Provinsi DKI Jakarta, menegaskan bahwa dakwah di kota global memerlukan pendekatan komprehensif. Masyarakat urban yang dinamis, digital, dan multikultural menuntut strategi yang beragam—digital, institusional, komunitas, maupun sosial—dengan penyampaian efektif dan relevan.
Dakwah dan Tantangan Masyarakat Urban
Dakwah, yang berarti menyeru manusia kepada Allah dengan hikmah dan nasihat yang baik, merupakan kewajiban umat Islam. Namun, di tengah kehidupan perkotaan, dakwah menghadapi tantangan baru. Generasi Z sebagai “penduduk asli digital” tumbuh bersama teknologi, terbiasa dengan multikulturalisme, kesadaran global, serta kuat dipengaruhi media sosial.
Kehidupan kota bercirikan kecepatan, efisiensi, dan persaingan, sekaligus konsumtif dan pragmatis. Relasi sosial cenderung transaksional, meski tetap ada ikatan komunitas. Masalah seperti stres, kesehatan mental, polusi, dan individualisme juga menjadi bagian keseharian, sementara generasi muda lebih kritis terhadap pernikahan dan pola hidup tradisional.
Strategi Dakwah Kontekstual
Para narasumber menekankan perlunya strategi dakwah yang sesuai dengan realitas perkotaan, antara lain:

Pendekatan Digital – Memanfaatkan Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, dan blog untuk menyebarkan konten singkat, praktis, serta relevan dengan persoalan urban, seperti manajemen stres atau gaya hidup Islami di kota.

Pendekatan Institusional & Komunitas – Bermitra dengan masjid, majelis taklim, perkantoran, BUMN, serta membentuk komunitas berbasis profesi, hobi, maupun gaya hidup.

Pendekatan Sosial & Keteladanan – Menghadirkan dakwah lewat perilaku nyata dan aksi sosial, seperti program lingkungan atau distribusi sembako, sebagai jawaban atas individualisme masyarakat kota.
Ekosistem Dakwah di Kota Global
Menurut Hasanudin Ali, dakwah perkotaan dapat dikembangkan melalui beberapa ekosistem:

Ekonomi keumatan: pelatihan kewirausahaan dan dukungan UMKM.

Teknologi digital: aplikasi pengingat shalat, kajian virtual, hingga mentoring Islami di lingkungan kerja.

Kesehatan mental-spiritual: layanan konseling Islami serta komunitas berbasis kebutuhan warga kota.
Seni dan Etika Dakwah
Pidato hanyalah salah satu sarana dakwah. Perilaku (lisanul hal) kerap lebih tajam dan membekas. Seorang da’i perlu menyampaikan pesan berbasis data dan pengalaman, menjaga kontak mata, tersenyum ceria, menyebut tokoh yang hadir, serta menggunakan bahasa repetitif yang variatif. Penting pula berhenti sejenak pada poin kunci dan menutup sebelum audiens merasa jenuh.
Media digital—Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, hingga blog—menjadi sarana prospektif karena fleksibel dan mudah diakses kapan saja. Dengan begitu, dakwah tak lagi terbatas ruang dan waktu, melainkan menyatu dalam denyut kehidupan urban yang serba cepat dan dinamis.
